Stephen has worked extensively with fixed-wing and rotary airlines and aviation companies around the world. He has changed the culture of training and operational environments so that clients achieve safer and more efficient operations. He has lectured extensively around the world. He was the first person to qualify as a UK CAA CRMI & Examiner (Ground School) and also holds the UK CAA CRMI Examiner (Simulator) licence.
He designed the Common Behavioural Standards © System, which has integrated non-technical CRM and technical assessment and has implemented this system to great effect in airlines worldwide. He has pioneered and championed the concept of the ‘constructive environment’ in both training and operations and revels in the eradication of negative and wasteful training practices.
He also provided training and consultancy services with: security organizations in the development of national military training systems in Africa, inter-cultural communication & management programmes in the Middle-East and high-level development executive development programmes in SE Asia.
Formerly a Captain in the British Army, Stephen gained front-line operational experience before becoming the Chief Instructor of an Army Education Centre where he developed and delivered training in Management, Communication Skills, Instructor Training and Defence Analysis.
Duncan has more than 30 years experience in training and development.
He delivers CAA-approved Crew Resource Management and Instructor Training programmes and has worked with companies such as Emirates, KLM, Royal Brunei, SAS and CHC .
He promotes the services of Interaction Trainers and is responsible for the marketing and delivery of Leadership and Management training programmes approved by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). Clients have included Natural England, The Learning and Skills Council, DWP, Midland Regional Growers and others in the food and drink sector, agriculture and horticulture.
In 2001 Adam commanded the first Military Reintegration Programme in Sierra Leone. He ran an extensive security and training project in the Middle East, with particular emphasis on high-rise building rescue, crisis management and counter-terrorist operations. As a director at an international risk management company Adam conducted projects including asset protection, banking security, crisis management, evacuation planning, incident response, close protection and hostile-environment training.
Adam has provided security advice and assistance to English Premiership football clubs, de Beers, the International Tennis Federation, Wembley National Stadium, Jeep, Smiths Group and the Volvo Ocean Race.
